Tarotscopes: June 2013

Hello Lovelies!

Welcome to June! This month I am not reviewing a deck, instead we are going to go back to the usual tarotscopes that I began with, simply giving you what you can expect for this month! The theme for this month overall is Judgement, whether making decisions or dealing with legal proceedings it is all about change and adaptation. This does not necessarily indicate a hard time or obstacles, it could mean that someone has judged you to be great for a new position at work but it is more responsibility and you have to adapt to it.

The number for Judgment is 20 which boils down to a 2 in numerology, if you look at the number itself picture the position someone must get into to form a 2, kneeling with back arched and head bowing it is a number of servitude, but also that of a survivor, when we see this numeric come up it shows someone who no matter the confrontation or issues, will bend but never break.

The number 6 (the number for this month) represents the caretaker or mother hen, it is seen as one of the most harmonious of the numbers. Don't get me wrong, it comes with issues and upsets but overall the numeral is considered be the peacemaker, teacher, protector and the "glue" within a family or community. A great number for the month and one that pushes you to focus on family, community and creating a healthy/peaceful environment in which you and others can blossom!

Gemini (May 21 - June 21) – Happy Birthday Gemini!! This month you start out in the Page of Pentacles, an inspirational card of new beginnings a young man stands in a field of blooming flowers holding up the pentacle coin. A new business or financial venture may be in store for you, Pentacles is considered a representation of the element Earth, this card deals with all things physical, since it is inspiration it could include beginning a new health regimen. Midmonth you move into the Seven of Pentacles, a man is depicted resting his head on his hands, almost like he is day dreaming or contemplating the seven pentacles in front of him. The results of hard work finally greet you and you are able to take a long due break to bask in the glory of your creation. You end the month in the Seven of Swords, like a thief in the night a boy holds five swords and drops two as he runs away looking back over his shoulder. This card is one that indicates struggles within the mind, there may be a situation you don't want to deal with or find to overwhelming to handle anymore and are tempted to just sneak away. However you decide to handle the situation just do not put it off, either continue your path or let everyone involved know that you just can't take anymore. Plenty of people are there to support you, reach out and use your resources.

Aries (March 21 - April 20) – Lots of Wands for you this month Aries! The 5 of Wands kicks off June for you indicating some disagreements coming you way. Rather than being able to move forward with plans instead you find yourself hitting numerous walls and obstacles. This may not just be people affecting you though, for instance if you are painting your home, it could be the painters or even your spouse giving you trouble over the color. We are our worst obstacles, this is also a good time to assess whether or not you are getting in your own way. No matter what do not to fret it will pass. Be careful for headaches or stomach issues related to stress and tension during June.  Next you move into 10 of Wands, giving you a sense of achievement, but still carrying with it a sense of burdens and hard work finally paying off. You end the month with the Tower in reverse, you are holding things together when you need to let go! Release and let Universe show you what you need right now, it may create more chaos but the lesson is there. You are holding off the inevitable and much like a band aid you just have rip it off to see how things look.

Taurus (April 21 - May 20) – Tap into your creativity and imagination at the beginning of this month Taurus, a unique situation will put you in need of 'outside the box' thinking. Use your charms to better your chances in the romance department and be ready for the unexpected there too! Don't judge books by their cover, don't get stuck looking for your 'type' the person to sweep you off your feet may the exact opposite of what you think you like. You move into the The Star reversed mid-month don't lose faith, things may not be heading in your direction right now but that does not mean you need to despair, it may indicate a need to change direction a little to get inspired again or reengaged with the world. You end the month in the 9 of Cups reversed, you may be getting a little to stuck in the concept of 'things', remember you can be rich in money but poor in everything else, the reverse is also true. Take time to enjoy the things you do have and count your blessings. Try not to focus on the 'I don't haves' and the 'I wants'.

Cancer (June 22 - July 22) – You begin in the 5 of Swords reversed indicates that you are ready for the tension to be over, no matter the cost you are over it! This card indicates that you are now more open to change than ever, this can also indicate a change in perspective allowing you to understand what the arguments are truly about or where the issues you are currently facing come from. The Chariot swings by next with a message of control and will power, these are your strengths and you need to use them!! You end the month as the Queen of Swords, your quick thinking mind will help you greatly at the end of the month. The great thing is you will have a lot of new opportunities around the end of June beginning of July!

Leo (July 23 - Aug. 22) – You are greeted by the Queen of Cups she tells you that now is the time to take emotion out of your judgment, be impartial with your thinking during the beginning of June. There may be a lot of people expressing their opinions around you or telling you (with the best of intentions) how to handle the situations that arise, don't listen to them, right now you need to be completely independent in your thinking. Next we see you move into the Devil in reverse, a place where you break free from bondage and empowered again! Now is the time to focus on you and nothing else! Lastly you work your way into the Wheel of Fortune giving you a sense of good luck, and destiny,  you will be heading up on a turning point close to the end of the month. Continue to invoke your Queen of Cups to help you make decisions all throughout the month.

Virgo (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22) – You start the month in the 7 of Wands indicating that after a sense of satisfaction with a project or deal there will be some big competition coming. You will have to stand your ground in order to get through the challenges ahead. Mid-month you enter Justice reversed which puts you in a position where either you feel you have to be dishonest or someone is being dishonest or that there is a lack of accountability. You end the month in the 9 of Wands helping you to embrace your innate resilience. You have essentially made it out of the muck and just have to continue holding strong and being courageous as you deal with the aftermath of the month.

Libra (Sept. 23 - Oct. 22) – You come upon the King of Swords sitting upon his throne, a determined stare upon his face as he holds his sword in his left hand. Quick and decisive thinking is what is necessary right now, weigh your pros and cons but do so with speed in mind! Next you move into the King of Wands reversed, who reminds you that as perfect as we all want to be it is not attainable. You may have set the bar to high for yourself Libra, now is not the time to be frustrated with the lack of progress in your life at the moment. Also be sure to take stock in the friends and people around you to see if you might be getting held back from your success. Wrapping up the month you land in the Knight of Pentacles seated upon his horse he is the epitome of all that is methodical, practical and successful. He has a great sense of responsibility and reminds you to be patient in accomplishing your goals, now is the time to establish daily routines so that you will feel secure and able to take new risks in order to gain your own success.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 - Nov. 21) – Entering June is guaranteed to be abundant with creative energies that the Page of Cups brings. Now is the time to explore your talents and use them as a way to connect to spirit and the Divine. Inspiration abounds, don't hold yourself back, you may find yourself getting exploring many different creative avenues, go with it! Next you find yourself in the 8 of Pentacles, this is a hardworking card, one which indicates you are working on the finer details of your life, you've got the goals now you have to figure out how you are going to get there! You finish the month in the 10 of Pentacles no matter what the challenges, issues or obstacles in your path this card is a harbinger of good tidings. Financial wealth is always indicated, as is retirement or the ability to relax and enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 20) – New discoveries await you at the beginning of this month Sagittarius. The 2 of Wands indicate that there are going to be a lot of decisions to be made from the new information that you research or find out! Discipline is the name of the game mid-month, you are under the influence of the King of Pentacles who brings a need for focus to your life. Pay attention to all of the details and you will have the abundance you are looking for. Be sure that you are eating and drinking enough of the right things during this time, otherwise you may find yourself getting dizzy and possibly dehydrated. Lastly you move into the 8 of Wands where you are under the challenge of extreme changes, chaos all around and in your life will cause quick changes that need equally swift action. Hopefully if you followed the advice for mid-month you are in a healthy enough state to be up to taking advantage of it! If you choose to bury your head in the sand, expect to deal with this energy for the next couple of months as it will flourish without direction.

Capricorn (Dec. 21 - Jan. 19) – Pay attention to your dreams Capricorn, the Moon promises that your intuition will be insane this whole month! The subconscious mind is working overtime during the beginning of the month, be sure to take some time to decode it. It seems this entire month is geared towards your inner journey at the Hermit guides you towards introspection and connection with your Higher Self. You end the month with the Fool who tells you it is okay to take that leap of faith and after releasing your stuff earlier this month with the Hermit you now are allowed to be the free spirit you need to be.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 - Feb. 18) – Lots of emotion coming your way the beginning of the month, the Ace of Cups indicates that those emotions may become overwhelming so prepare yourself. Even so you will find your compassion and ability for love will change the lives of those around you so feel free to spread it around! Mid-month we see you moving into the 6 of Cups bringing with it a sense of nostalgia, you may be thinking of childhood memories or meeting with an old friend. At the end of the month we see you move into the Ace of Swords with all of the overwhelming emotions of earlier in the month breakthroughs are guaranteed at the end of it giving you a sense of victory and clarity in life.

Pisces (Feb. 19 - March 20) – Starting the month in the 6 of Swords tells us that you will be facing one of your life challenges, almost like a rite of passage you will come out of this as a different person than when you went in. Moving into the middle of the month we see that you have let go of old constraints as you fall under the influence of the Page of Wands a sense of looking at the world with new eyes and a fresh exuberance to explore the world around you. You finish off the month with the Queen of Wands which continues to help you stay enthusiastic and feeling connected to the world around you, but now there is a sense of determination underlying it all. Work will prove fruitful but there will be some definite challenges, they are just that though, feel free to put yourself on the front line in order to garner the attention of new clients or bosses.

Tarotscopes October 2011

Hello Lovelies!

It's that time of the month! Yes, the Tarotscopes!!! This month I worked with the Silver Era Tarot authored by Russell J. Moon and artistry by Aunia Kahn.  I absolutely enjoyed working with this deck, if there was one critique I could give it would be to the models more than the artist. They were at times simply to stiff or in an obvious ‘pose’. The actually quality of the graphics is amazing. I must say that I would recommend this deck to someone who enjoys more gothic style art, the images are black and white with pops of color in various pictures throughout the deck. My favorite card? The Hierophant, those blood red lips on a younger female face (very unique as most often the card is depicted as an old man) in the black and white shot with a very intense gaze. If I could get it framed and hang it on my wall I absolutely would. The mix of photographed and illustrative art is fabulous and has a definite ethereal feel to it. This deck is great for the intermediate intuitive reader.

Libra - Happy Birthday Libra!! The King of Cups greets you at the beginning of the month bringing with him a sense of being driven, busting through obstacles and having to make many decisions. The middle of the month brings Judgement reversed beckoning you to  take another look, your drive has become possibly obsessive in nature. This card also warns of a lack of momentum and a feeling of progress stopped. The Ace of Swords brings along a rise from a feeling of defeat and again picking up momentum and a feeling of accomplishment.


Aries - The Devil knocks on your door at the beginning of the month Aries! Excess and overindulgence may bite you in the bum later. Keep aware of your apetites and your wallet! Mid-month brings the Star, ushering new hopes and dreams. Keep the faith things are moving forward even if it isn’t obvious right now. At the end of the month is the Six of Swords indicating time for a change you may be feeling disconnection with the people around you or your environment. This will spur you on to big changes next month.

Taurus - The Moon comes to see you at the beginning of the month telling you to trust your gut with all decisions and allow creativity to be your outlet. Nex comes the Four of Wands indicating completion or a feeling of accomplishment. At the end of the month Justice stops by giving you a sense of balance and rightness.

Gemini - You start the month in the Ten of Cups indicating a harmonious partnership or relationship. The Nine of Wands comes in at the middle of October  indicating a small setback in plans. But don’t be disheartened you will overcome and everything will be back on track in no time. At the end of the month you meet up with the Hanged Man in the reverse position indicating now is a time to look inward for resolution rather than opinions and ideas from everyone else.

Cancer - Now is the time for action! So says the Eight of Wands at the beginning of the month. Choices have been made and there is nothing left but to follow through with the plan. The middle of the month brings with it the Seven of Pentacles reversed indicating a big risk, all can be won or lost based on your decision (no pressure!) time to get some advice! At the end of the month you meet the Queen of Cups telling you to pay attention to the people around you, particularly the successful and wise. You will learn some new things which will make life much easier

Leo - You begin October in the phase of the Knight of Wands influencing you to continue in your current direction with a surety of much success. Midmonth brings the Ten of Pentacles into your sphere indicating a good financial status, with the ability to money aside. It may also come up if there is an inheritence or a lot of debt is cleared. At the end of the month you land in the Two of Cups bestowing a new or renwed friendship or relationship with a feeling of a true partnership!


Virgo - The Queen of Wands greets you at the beginning of the month with the message to forge ahead with bringing your dreams to fruition success lies around the corner. Mid month you embody the Page of Swords causing you to take an opportunity to advance your knowledge. At the end of the month you come in contact with the Six of Wands giving you a feeling of success and satisfaction.

Scorpio - You begin in the phase of the Three of Cups reversed indicating that now is the time to bring people together for a common goal.  The Page of Cups reversed comes to you at midmonth bringing with it a sense of a need to embrace the inner child.  Spend time with a friend, reminisce and relax. The endo fo the month brings the Five of Cups reversed inducing a sense of hardship and grief. Be sure to take your time with any decision making.

Sagittarius - Watch out Sagittarius! Now is the time to recover from last month the Four of Swords indicates a possible burnout on the horizon. The Tower reversed warns you to be cautious of change. Really take your time and weigh the pros and cons. The Knight of Pentacles warns you not to give into the pressure around you. Don’t let other people make the choices for you!

Capricorn - You start the month as the Queen of Wands reversed indicating a feeling of depression. But this does not last long as you move into the Magician midmonth bringing you to a crossroads. You cannot go forward, nor backward without making a decision. Take a minute and mull it over.  At the end of the month you reach the Five of Wands telling you to get involved in some healthy competition. It will be good for your spirit.

Aquarius - You start out in the Two of Swords telling you to accept fate. Release control and let things happen. Midmonth you meet the Hanged Man who tells you that right now you aren’t going anywhere, so just relax. But at the end of the month you have the Seven of Swords coming in giving you the ability to confront current issues with people and situations.

Pisces - The Devil is knocking at your door at the beginning of the month reminding you that things are only as bad as you percieve it. Sometimes we can cripple ourselves with our negative attitudes. The Fool tells you to take a second and look before you leap but it is definitely time for change at the end of the month comes the Ten of Swords indicating now is the times to pick yourself up by your bootstraps and move on!

August 2011 Tarotscopes

This month I'm using a different kind of deck, we are actually switching it up to an oracle deck! Wisdom of the Maya: An Oracle of Ancient Knowledge for Today is a fabulously created and detailed deck of Mayan deities, glyphs, animals, forms and astronomy cards. The Maya were on of the most highly evolved ancient cultures, colonizing Central America for over 1,000 years. They had to know a little something something right? Dr. Ronald Bonewitz did a wonderful job of interpreting the symbology in order to create a great oracle deck with the assistance of carving illustrator Achim Frederic Kiel. 


Leo - Let Kumatz (the snake) be your guide. Aside from the jaguar it is one of the most important animals in the Mayan belief system, a herald of change at the deepest levels. Let your inner voice guide you over this next month and watch for outside stressors coming into major play. Learn to let go and let God..err...Kumatz...aid you in dealing with your current challenges in a way to create change.

Aries - Chel The Nurturer comes to you this month bringing with a sense of giving and needing a lot of support during the month of August. I get the sense with this that it is related more to family matters than friends so keep an eye out for parents, siblings and immediate relations.

Taurus - Nohoch Ek is the equivalent of the God of War indicating conflict, on the plus side, whatever arguments and negative situations that surround you during the month are at their worst and can only get better. On top of that be sure to look for support from your significant other, Nohock Ek is ruled by Venus and allows reconnection and reaffirmation or the beginnings of love to bloom.

Gemini - Kinich Ahau comes to you for the month of August, telling you that even a bad decision is better than no decision at all. You may be trying to push things forward but meet a wall or have to wait for others to get on the ball. Now is the time to stay on top of things and push as hard as you can toward the future that you crave.

Cancer - Dzonot The Cenote flags you down for the month of August allowing you a deeper look into yourself. Now is your chance to look into the heart of the matter and see it for what it TRULY is. This is also a great time for reinspection and reevaluation but don't make any plans just allow yourself to absorb the information that will be gleaned throughout the month.

Virgo - Balam, the jaguar makes use of the darkness, but when this card comes forward it tells you that now is the time for self-confrontation. You are allowing your darkness to hold you back, now is the time to face that negative and come to terms, turn weakness to strength and shed light on the dark.

Libra -Kanah indicates movement, a lot of movement, this could mean movign forward in life, a change of address, or job even a change in family. Sometimes the Paddler Gods may come up if you need MORE movement in your life indicating that now is the time to put action to your plans.

Scorpio - In the Chinese language the idiom for 'danger' is the same as 'opportunity' danger comes in many forms and Chibil Kin comes to warn you of rough seas ahead. Be very aware of your finances, not all dangers are physical recognize that they can be emotional as well. Worry not because the dangers will pass quickly.

Sagittarius - Pop denotes the need to give and/or recieve advice. Be wise in your choice of counselor, even if you have to start out with someone who may not be as well trained or organized as you would like, something is better than nothing.

Capricorn - The glyph Karn comes into your life this month indicating that being to comfortable or to satiated can be as bad as starving or moving to fast. Take a look around you and reasses, are you settling? Do you feel stuck? If you do then now is the time to make a change Universe will guide your way.

Aquarius - This is a month in which your strength will shine, there will be a lot of burdens weighing on you but you need to keep your headup, things will come out just fine. Pauahtun The Skybearer lends you the strength and the solidity to hold up the world if necessary, it will endure no matter how long you must sustain.

Pisces -Iq Icatz (new fire) indicates that right now you are at your height of manifestative power. With an 'out with the old in with the new' attitude you will begin new projects this month that will turn out to be great deals in the future if you play your cards right!

Tarotscopes For February!

Hello Lovelies!

Unfortunately, because of my schedule, I will have to start posting the Tarotscopes as a monthly thing, but along with the Tarotscopes I will be highlighting some of my adventures as well! I hope this doesn't deter any of you from checking back often, as there will be new posts all of the time!

Aries

You're "get up and go, got up and went" this month, Aries. You will be suffering from a little bit of lethargy. This is indicated by the Eight of Cups, but surrounding this card you also have the Two of Discs and the Devil. Everyone always looks oddly at me when the Devil comes up in their spread. But it's not as evil a card as everyone may think. The Two of Discs indicates changes happening around you and I feel that this may pertain to work. However, you will also be in a place where it will be easy for you to adapt to these changes. The Devil gives me a little bit of a clearer insight, showing that you will be using your stubborn nature and your optimistic outlook to change a possibly negative situation into a rewarding positive one.

Taurus

The Four of Cups indicates that during the month of February you will be surrounded by material things, symbols of accomplishment and luxury, Taurus. However, it shows that you will also be restless. The Emperor also makes an appearance in your spread, which tells me that the potential for new love or even a rekindling of a current romance will take place during this month. The Princess of Disks also makes an appearance, connecting with the Emperor. If you have been looking to get pregnant now is the month to try for it. This month is great as far as fertility is concerned on all aspects. Mentally, spiritually and physically.

Gemini

The Knight of Wands appears in your cards this month, Gemini. You will be on a crusade during the month of February; not fighting anyone in particular but pushing for your creative ideas to come to fruition and be recognized for the genius that they are. This can also apply to a situation where you feel something is unfair and you fight to be heard. This month is one for self-assertion and really learning to put your foot down. This month is all about creation and manifestation for you. The Strength card also comes up, representing the power of love and innovation. No more time to tinker, Gemini. This is a month of action!

Cancer

You are down but definitely not out this month, Cancer. The 5 of Swords tells me that you are feeling as if options or ideas have run dry. But don't worry, this is a month to lay low and gather your resources. The Eight of Wands makes an appearance telling me that good news is coming to you this month and that truth will prevail. Finding answers is at the heart of this month for you. Nevertheless, it is a wait and see kind of month. There is nothing you can actively be doing at this moment to help push things forward. The Hierophant tells me someone is coming into the picture who will act as a guide for you. A giver of good advice, this person is definitely one to be listened to.

Leo

The Devil is the theme for you this month Leo, along with the World and 9 of Wands. The Devil speaks to us of turning negative energy into positive, it also touches on sexuality and physical confrontations. This tells me that this month will be one of ironing out details between two people, it will also be a sexually charged month for you -- but there may be a communication disconnect even with the great fun you have in bed. The World shows us that your worldview will change this month. Instead of relying on illusions and false beliefs, your eyes will be wide open and you will be hit by stark reality. The 9 of Wands shows me that this time for you is one of gathering energy and resources. It also tells me that you may be a little resistant to some new experiences coming your way. Be aware, we make our own obstacles.

Virgo

Your negative thoughts are really going to get you this month, Virgo. The 10 of Swords speaks of a fear of plans ruined as well as letting negative thinking get you distracted and distressed. The 5 of Disks tells me that there are some financial worries surrounding you, and the Knight of Disks shows that throughout all of this your will and persistence will overcome all of these things. But you really need to pick yourself up by your bootstraps and move forward. Don't allow the negative thought patterns to get you. If you do, you will miss too many opportunities for success. Don't hyper-focus or dwell on the possible negative outcome of a situation and don't borrow trouble this month, Virgo. You really can't afford it.

Libra

Expect your schedule to get full this month, Libra. You are being pulled in a million different directions and usually you are good at giving attention to all of them. However, this month things may seem a little overwhelming. The Ace of Swords shows up in your spread indicating that through all of this you will maintain clear thinking and that you mind will not fail you. There is also a new opportunity coming your way so keep your eyes open as this is something that will help to bring you spiritual and financial fulfillment. The Knight of Discs also makes an appearance to tell us that you will heading down your own path without compromising any of your ethical or spiritual beliefs. You will make no bones about who and what you are or your goals. People either better join you or get out of the way!

Scorpio

This month is all about releasing fears. The Moon card comes through loud and clear with this message, saying that you should not dread danger or look for the next shoe to drop but instead continue on your path with courage. It also speaks of delving into your subconscious to try and understand who you really are. We lash out for reasons unknown, we react to things in very specific ways, but why? The Moon is here for you this month to help you discover just that. The Five of Cups also makes an appearance, showing that there will be some big disappointments coming for you this month. I feel that they are from people, not situations. There is a feeling of injustice looming around you this month and it all comes back to opinions. However, on the other side of scale we have the Ace of Swords, which gives a chance of a new path, and freedom of thought. Take advantage.

Sagittarius

Your mind is your best weapon this month, Sagittarius. The Six of Wands tells me that you will gain success through your own clever machinations. On the opposing side, we have the Ten of Wands, which tells me that you may not be up to the effort of putting your full strength behind your plans or ideas. A feeling of fatigue will hit you this month, almost like there is barely any energy at all. But do not allow yourself to be oppressed. Temperance is there to guide you and help you gain balance. It's all about getting out of the chaos and finding equal footing this month Sagi!

Capricorn

An injustice will finally be righted, Capricorn. The Justice card tells of this, and next to it lays the Sun card, which speaks of material gain and success. It also shows us that you will be content during this month, both with your work and in relationships! However, on the other side of this lays the Seven of Cups, which tells me that there will also be much frustration. Things do not feel as though they are moving along fast enough for you. But there is so much going on behind the scenes that you don't see. Relax. Success is your's this month.

Aquarius

Be careful of courting danger this month, Aquarius. That warning comes from the Five of Swords. The Two of Wands tells me that you have control over a situation that you feel less than in control of. It also speaks of an overflow of creative energy just waiting to be channeled through you. The Five of Wands shows that you are longing for success, harmony and stability but that it often eludes you. This month you will be prepared to grab it, just be sure you can hold on and heed the Five of Swords this February.

Pisces

It's all about emotions this month, Pisces, with the Eight, Ace and Nine of Cups in your spread. The Eight tells us of a reversal of fortune -- it may feel like February is one giant obstacle, at least in the beginning of the month. Next there is the Ace of Cups which talks about a major opportunity for self-realization and fulfillment coming for you. It also speaks of reveling in love on all levels. The Nine of Cups tells me that you are going to approach every situation this month with a joie de vivre and that networking, team games and socializing in general will be your strengths throughout the month.

Aries
