Tarotscopes: May 2013

Hello Lovelies!

May is here!! I hope with it we get some really nice weather, up here in the northeast it has still been wicked chilly! I want to give a shout out to my Taurean sister, Happy Birthday!! This month I am working with the Inspiring Butterflies deck, a 27 day course of self-discovery. The butterfly is one of the most recognized symbol of transformation, perfect for this month!! It is a 27 card oracle deck that you can use for yourself everyday or use the outlined booklet to help you transform your spiritual consciousness!
Each inspiring card has an affirmation on the back to help you feel more at peace with your day, it is great to meditate on the cards themselves or use the affirmation as a mantra during your daily centering rituals. Not  necessarily a deck that is made for the professional or even novice reader, however, it is one that is made for the person just getting into spirituality or looking for a deeper connection with their higher self.

Taurus (April 21 - May 20) – Happy Birthday Taurus! A beautiful pink butterfly comes forward for you, it is not the time to hold in Feelings. The butterfly is pictured with almost a ripple of colors coming from it. Indicating that by OWNING your FEELINGS this month it will release them to Universe.  If you are currently in a situation where you feel you cannot express your feelings, then write them down somewhere or speak them aloud to yourself! It is a way of saying, "This is how I feel" and letting it go.

Aries (March 21 - April 20) – Remember that you are worthy of blessings and abundance. The Survival butterfly indicates that this month you may feel slightly defeated, but this card serves as a reminder that you are meant to do more than survive you are meant to thrive. This month may be a little difficult to navigate but it will pass and remember to channel your higher self to overcome your obstacles!

Gemini (May 21 - June 21) – The butterfly of Confidence reminds you that no matter what decisions need to be made and opinions given your voice and your opinions are the only ones that matter! This month is about you gaining confidence in your thoughts, ideas and decision making, so no hesitating just let the thoughts flow!

Cancer (June 22 - July 22) – Be mindful not to just say things so you don't hurt a person's feelings. The butterfly of Truth encourages you to be honest with those around you and yourself, even if it hurts. Approach people respectfully, this isn't a free pass to be blunt. But it is an endorsement to speak from the heart.

Leo (July 23 - Aug. 22) – Fun is the name of the game this month Leo, the beautiful butterfly that represents it is filled with active colors like red, orange and yellow to help fuel your playful fire! Don't take anything to seriously this month and put a light hearted spin on any troubles. Do something outrageous, to make yourself giggle. Share a ton of those LOL cat Facebook pics, or get together with a friend who always gives you a good laugh. It is the key for you this month!

Virgo (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22) –  Three butterflies in green and pink are headed your way in May Virgo, they represent Balance, something that is going to be essential to your spirituality and your sanity! We give so much to others everyday, and rarely take the time to appreciate or pat ourselves on the back for a job well done. It is time to express some self love, which will help Balance your compassion and joy. The soothing green tones of the butterfly represent the heart chakra and aid you in soothing away any obstacles when it comes to embracing who you are and the awesomeness of that! 

Libra (Sept. 23 - Oct. 22) –  So many beautiful colors for you this month Libra! The soft green and blue tones of this butterfly represent the Unity of earth and air or water, the yellows represent the sun which is the unifier of these elements. More than creating connections with people it is a reminder that the love and care you give to other people must be unified with that which you give yourself. Otherwise it will lead to feelings of bitterness, resentment and anger. Now may be the time to pull back a little so you can reassess your own self-worth and image, readjust that image and then go back into your friendships or relationships with a new sense of understanding.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 - Nov. 21) – Lots of purple butterflies surround you this month Scorpio, tons of them!! These vibrant purple butterflies are a sign that you need to work on Communication. Have you ever been angry but not been able to figure out why? Or maybe you knew why but the words wouldn't come out to express it? What about a situation where someone asks you a question, you know the answer but you can't articulate it correctly? What happens? Sweaty palms, tangled words, and a lack of eye contact. In essence a lack of confidence or conviction. When we look at someone who has these things it is the opposite, direct eye contact, great words etc. This month is about facing obstacles that will help you to increase your confidence and conviction, that will allow you to blossom in the area of communication. Expect some fear, and maybe even some tangled words, but take advantage of the situation and see it as the life lesson it truly is.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 20) – OoOoOo...look at all the pretty colors!!! Yellow, purple, green, blue this beautiful butterfly is pretty darn inspiring. That makes sense though Sagittarius, it's the butterfly of Creativity! What a great theme for you this month, creativity at it's essence doesn't have to read 'artsy' it can be thinking outside of the box when it comes to solving a problem. When we do look at art though you can think of it as a form of self-expression and therapy. This butterfly is here to tell you to find a new creative way to express yourself and get your messages across, whether through pen and paper, drawing, creative problem solving or painting a room in the house a new color! Creativity allows you to experience that child like glee again of finding something new that you enjoy!

Capricorn (Dec. 21 - Jan. 19) – Its all about Love this month Capricorn!! Your desire to love and be loved creates compassion in your heart, which is why the predominant color of your butterfly is green! But there are hints of azure, blue and purple as well, indicating the ever changing nature of life, the ability to see others in a different light once you are connected to the source of Love & a reminder that you are never alone as long as you are connected to that source! This is a totally reassuring message for you this month when things may be a little off balance and crazy.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 - Feb. 18) –  Lovely olive colors with pinches of bright fuchsia and deep blues this butterfly is one of Peace. It's colors are not overly stimulating but the blue background it lays upon reminds you that when you "Go with the Flow" you are more in alignment with universal energy! Let passion and forgiveness ignite your spirit, this allows the people around to be their most authentic selves  giving YOU the gift of peace!

Pisces (Feb. 19 - March 20) – Get a boost to your Self Esteem this month as the butterfly flits around you! It is time to embrace your strengths and recognize that they ARE valued by the people around you.  From early on we are taught never to think to much of ourselves or get a "big head" personally I don't see a problem with you acknowledging that you are the god of your own microcosm. This is a truth, YOU should be the center of your universe. More often though we fall into the cheer leading role for others and forget that! This butterfly is a gentle reminder for you to be your own cheerleader, acknowledge you innate abilities, talents and strengths, give yourself a moment to realize how wonderful and amazing you really are!

Hello Lovelies!!!

It's that time again! February heralds an 8 for the month's Universal number, which is a number of Karma! It actually makes a lot of sense for February considering we are just coming off the New Year (and looking back on that past year) and looking into the future for this year. Karma always looks in both directions, expect rewards for past actions & continue to put efforts out there so that you can grow exponentially within this year. I like to think of February as a power month in that it is an in between, not necessarily a month of action it is a great one to plan and set your intentions. Speaking of planning this month I am working with the Star Road Map influenced by the Mayan calendar it is 'Divination Beyond Time & Space' created by Patricia Padilla & Marlena Freelove it is a brightly colored card set that includes a 208 page guidebook to help with your journey to self discovery!
When opening the box initially I presumed the deck was more like a traditional tarot with the 78 cards including major arcana, minor arcana & the pips. The cards themselves are a little bulky to handle (they are more like oracle cards with their width) but they are very well done. However, in looking at the deck you will soon come to realize they are very different, they may include some very obvious similarities to a normal deck of tarot (with a mesoamerican flair) however, you soon come to discover huge differences. There are a few recognizable figures in the major arcana such as Death, The Lovers, The Emperor etc, the World has been changed to The Universe and then there are cards such as Self Love & Stillness which are completely new. The pips look and work nothing like the typical tarot there are 20 cards for Days, 13 for Overworlds, 9 for the Underworlds, 9 Intercessions (think Divine intervention) and another 4 for each of the directions. This deck is an insight into how this culture sees the cosmos, time, spirituality & how it connects us all and helps us along our path. This is a wonderful deck for anyone interested in the mesoamerican culture, or in any ancient history. It is a great way to learn about their world view & how to look beyond the future but into the past & present to see it's affect!

Aquarius - Happy Birthday Aquarius! And what a birthday it will be with the Ancestors who implore you to sacrifice and be reborn, it is time to start another life or another chapter of your life. Let the Ancestors help you to accomplish this goal. Initiation comes next which allows you to begin a grand new journey, all of the tools necessary for growth & abundance is already at your fingertips you need only begin to put things into action. You end with Acceptance, the first Day card in the deck this is about an acceptance of self and your place in the world. Its important to be both independent and cooperative within your community at this time!

Aries -  It is time to look to the East Aries! Look into the direction where the sun rises, take that energy and run with it! You are empowered by your own ability to motivate as yellow energy invades your aura giving you the ability to push things into fruition! Authenticity is the name of Day 7 challenging you to be free and secure in your relationships. Don't be the chameleon blending in with your surroundings and your friends ideas, now is the time to embrace your individuality! You finish February with the 11th card of the Overworld which brings you Clarity giving you a wonderful chance to turn a floodlight in the dark and see things for how they truly are!

Taurus - The World Tree comes through as Divine intervention reminding you that you are a small part of a much bigger picture. Now is the time to 'Let go & let God' you've done all you can to push things forward now take a passive role and see how things unfold. The 4th card in the Overworld set comes forward for you indicating Stability put your best foot forward because nothing less will do during the mid-month as long as you do you will get the best out of ANY situation you are in. You end the month in the 5th card of the Underworld set entitled Regional and it reminds you that that you are not your culture or religion your cannot be put into a box and no definition can truly encompass who you are. Look to art and writing to access the greater reality what will serve your soul's evolution!

Gemini - The Vision Serpent comes to you in the beginning of the month letting you know that you already have the answers you have been looking for. You need to get away from all of the opinions, confusion & chaos surrounding you to find them. You then move into the 14th Day (Wisdom) indicating it is time to gain education with counseling skills and healing arts in order to assist you in giving clear, concise communication regarding your thoughts and ideas. You end the month in the First Father considered the highest spiritual card  in the deck freed from illusions & deceptions our mind has only to catch up with your state of grace. As we move from the Age of Pisces into the Age of Aquarius, you will recognize that you have no limitations and whatever images, ideas or notions that your mind can construct will indeed become reality.

Cancer - Flow is the 6th card in the Overworld series, indicating a time self-awareness is upon you. This card comes up often for people who are involved in physical activities such as athletes, people trying to become fit or stay fit, sometimes it will also come up for those just discovering illness. It is all about truly becoming aware of our physical self & attuning to the energy of focused physical movement in order to accomplish goals, rather than 'trying to keep up' or being 'all over the place'. Day 4 rises for you and it's message is Leadership, it is time to work on a healthy sense of self-esteem, and balance all the endeavors you are undertaking. Right now it is critical that you pay attention to the details within your projects & be sure not to adhere to plans to strictly as you may receive some great suggestions. Its important to keep an open mind. We also see Nawal coming in as an Intercession for you, a Nawal is given to every child upon their birth, think of it as something like an animal spirit guide or familiar. Know that as you help others or try to help yourself your own Nawal is working in tandem with you, protecting you and is your advocate.

Leo -  Much like the end month for Cancer you Leo begin your month with an Intercession, that of the White Flower. Considered to be the eternal flower of the World Tree the white flower is the portal where human souls are brought into creation. The message of this all important bud is that you are not alone in this world, we are escorted through this life by guardians and guides, it is ever important that we maintain a clear connection to these beings to help us as we grow into full adulthood, as they will also be the people to help escort us back to the First Mother & First Father. Mid-month we see the entrance of the Emperor indicating a job well done by you or for you, it may also indicate that home and work life is in complete balance at this time. You end the month with The Universe depicted by the Spider Woman who wove the Universe into existence. It is is a reminder to you that you are part of something much greater and a message that right now stillness is your friend. Be still and it will restore you, giving you the opportunity to get back in touch with your spirit, mind & body which will be ever important at the end of the month. No matter what is going on, carry with you that sense of stillness.

Virgo - You begin the month in Day 3 indicating that right now your biggest challenge will be your rigidity in your thinking, and need for control. This card is all about Security, but it implores you to be flexible in all things and let go! Next you move into the 9th card of the Overworld, telling you now is not the time to wait around and be Patient, but rather you've been given the go ahead to intensify your focus on a project. If by this time of the month you are questioning decisions you have made, this card indicates that you did indeed take the correct path for all involved. You round out the month in the darker aspect of the Empowerment card which is the 5th in the Overworld section. When we see this card come up typically it means that you need to watch yourself. Although mid-month you were making plenty of correct decisions, maybe things went to well and you got a little to high on the horse. You are considered a leader, be sure that your decisions are being made for the good of all and not for just you.

Libra - You start out February with a reminder from the 3rd card in the Underworld series entitled Familial. However, this is not as it seems, the card does not suggest you connect more with family but rather you look beyond your role there and see how you can make the world your family. For instance, a wife becomes a mother, as the children grow Mom is no longer a person, but a role, a thing that you are. This cards asks you to go beyond the Mom role, take what you have learned there and from all of your other past influences, genetics etc and apply it to a more world wide vision. Next you move into the Magus represented by the Butterfly God it is a card of deep transformation indicating that your already heading into your next evolution. You end the month with an Intercession from Alchemy! This card reminds you that the only limits you have are those you put on yourself. Remember the journey back to Creator is all about breaking down barriers & illusions we have built up around us.

Scorpio - The month starts with you looking to the South giving you a strong sense of connection to others and strengthening of your emotions and the ability to really reach bottom of the barrel issues that you have stuffed away. The 8th card in the Underworld series lets you know that you have moved beyond physicality and are truly ready for spiritual reality. To the Mesoamerican people this was a Galactic reality, their First Mother and First Father lived near Orion's belt and so this card is aptly named. You end with the 10th card in the Overworld Series called Manifest however, it comes in at it's darker aspect tell you that the end of the month is not a time to sit on your butt and get complacent but rather one to rise to the challenge and bring down the obstacle blocking your pathway.

Sagittarius - Your month is full of Days Sag! It starts with Day 6 (Instinct) which tells you now is the time to really make a concerted effort within your relationships and community. It's really important that you also keep a world view of everything that you do! Next you move into Day 9 (Persistence) which challenges you to learn self-control and find the triggers for your not so wonderful behaviors. You end the month on the 13th Day (Knowledgeable) bringing with it a need to compromise and be flexible in your current situation.

Capricorn - You start the month with an Intercession by La Reina (and no I'm not talking about Mambo LaReina from Mystic Seekers Radio, Tuesday nights @ 11pm on TenacityRadio.com) I'm speaking of The Lady of Guadalupe (which btw if you use her green candle to help bring what you want it REALLY works well!) this card comes in to remind you that Love is the glue that holds all of our worlds together and La Reina will aid you to tap into that. With it will come a sense of compassion, firm faith & a need to help others which will in turn help you. Next you move into the 10th Day (Authority) which tells you to learn patience, practice patience and to take direction from the people around you! You end the month with the 1st card of the Underworld indicating that you are able to make changes even down to the Cellular level, however you may be preoccupied with the physical world around you. The challenge in this card is to change perspective and not let yourself get bogged down by 'stuff'.

Pisces - Point your focus West dear Pisces the energies there are trans-formative however it takes on a little bit of a different meaning, it is not just transformation in your personal life but actually much larger than that. Aspects of the West also include communication, cooperation, and adjustment so at this time it is really important that you work with others and communicate clearly with those around you in order to adjust to new situations you find yourself in. You hit Day 12 (Emotions) mid-month which encourages you to be open and honest with the people around you, don't suppress negative feelings but learn to deal with them in new and creative ways. You end the month in the 20th Day (Simplicity) which challenges you to learn to handle disappointments from yourself or others, mostly due to setting possibly unrealistic goals. It also says that in a perfect world everyone would be fair, but at this moment you have to find a way to get used to the unfairness of others decisions and judgments.

Hello Lovelies!
May is here!! I hope with it we get some really nice weather, up here in the northeast it has still been wicked chilly! I want to give a shout out to my Taurean sister, Happy Birthday!! This month I am working with the ShadowFox Tarot by Richard and Jennifer ShadowFox. I have to say that I respect all tarot creators, that there is so much work, heart and soul that goes into creating any deck! However, when it comes to this deck I have to say I LOVE the book more than the deck. For those of you who have been following the Truthful Tarot you know that I never encourage people to read the books that come with decks, that I feel it is better to use your own interpretations but this book is AWESOME. I seriously feel it could have been sold on it's own without the deck and been worth the money! From astrological & alchemical correlations to the cards mood music and mythological connections it details everything you ever needed to know. I just want to know how they discovered the blood types of the cards!!
The deck itself is all based off of the idea of shadows, and I get that, there is a ton of negative space and the computerized imagery is not all that dynamic to me. I personally don't get a ton of inspiration from it and it's not the lack of color, I have read many black and white decks. There was no one card that jumped out and said, "Hey, look at me!" or any emotion coming through the cards. Again though, I do respect the time and effort put into deck and the ShadowFox Tarot is no different I respect what these creative individuals were aiming for but it felt to me as though the deck was more of an afterthought to the book.
I may get some flak for that, just know it is MY experience in working with this deck and MY opinion. I do feel this deck and especially the book is GREAT for any beginner or even advanced reader! It is phenomenal!

Taurus (April 21 - May 20) – Happy Birthday Taurus! You begin May in the Seven of Swords be sure to take advice given to you at the beginning of the month! Mid-month you meet the Hermit  telling you to let go of old grudges, and do some soul searching to help you move forward. You end the month in the Six of Swords giving the impression that you will be moving forward at light speed!

Aries (March 21 - April 20) – The Four of Swords greets you at the beginning of the month bringing with it a sense of stagnation and a break from hostility or a truce. Take advantage of it and allow yourself some time to rejuvenate! Next you move into the Queen of Pentacles follow the impulse to take a closer look at your financials, now is a great time to rework your budget and take a second look at your bank accounts. You finish out May in the Page of Cups indicating that now is a great time to head out on your own, there may be some extra obligations that you need to take care of but they are short term. This card can also indicate the birth or conception of a baby!

Gemini (May 21 - June 21) – Pay attention to your communication sources Gemini! The Page of Swords warns that your inbox, text or IM may get flooded with people wanting your attention. Vet them out and be sure to not take on to many obligations. Go into things with a curious and open mind over the first few weeks of May even the oddest opportunities may be worthwhile. Career changes, abundance, prosperity, goals reached! Sounds good right? Well you are in luck! Your in the Ace of Pentacles mid-May, indicating that your financial  and career goals will be met. You finish the month out in the Ace of Cups indicating that now is NOT the time to hold back your feelings, whether you are currently in a relationship or been keeping quiet with your crush don't hold back!


Cancer (June 22 - July 22) – Get comfy in your creativity because the Empress says it's time to be the idea person!! Just remember to remember those ideas! Write down your genius so that you have plenty of ideas just in case later on you hit a creative drought. You move into the Ten of Swords mid-month bringing with it a sense of foreboding, financial issues will become apparent during this time so just be careful with your money. This card can also indicate a possible bankruptcy or bad advice. You end the month in The Fool who tells you to be careful of extravagance and now is the time to walk on the conservative side, really weigh you options and look before you leap.

Leo (July 23 - Aug. 22) – Rule with benevolence says the Queen of Wands some may interpret your current way of decision making as hasty or aggressive but you know what your doing. Do not let your pride get in the way over the next couple of weeks though and be open to criticism. Work, work, work! But are you working because you love it or because it's a great way to keep your mind off of other things? The Ten of Wands wants you to remember your friends and family need you too! The Moon tells you to pay attention to your intuition even if it means taking a more difficult road at the end of the month.

Virgo (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22) –  Death greets you at the beginning of the month indicating that there is big (and possibly uncomfortable) change on the horizon. It is important that you go with this change, and learn to detach a little bit in order to take a step back and see where this change leads. Mid-month brings you to the Two of Wands telling you that you have had success with the changes at the beginning of the month but that patience is still called for in order to attain your goals. At the end of the month you move into the Four of Pentacles saying that although you may go by the motto, "If you want it done right, do it yourself." You may be inadvertently pushing away others around you. Now is the time to delegate responsibilities and trust the people around you to fulfill the tasks necessary to get the job done.

Libra (Sept. 23 - Oct. 22) – Balance dear Libra balance!!! I know your frustrated with this seeming eternal struggle as depicted by the Two of Pentacles but Universe tells you now is not time to try to control the situation around you rather stay fluid and go with the flow. The Hanged Man greets you at the middle of the month telling you that now is the time to stand backstage and be a supporting character rather than center stage. At the end of the month your focus should be on your total commitment to new projects and your current path as told by The Lovers.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 - Nov. 21) – Take time for your family Scorpio! Now is the time to recollect old family stories, and traditions says the Ten of Pentacles. Pass it down to your family, look to imbue them with the strength of your ancestors. Don't let you passion get the best of you! The King of Swords indicates that now is the time to collect the information, analyze, check and double check before making any important decisions! The Queen of Cups tells you to use your innate ability to help & heal for those around you at the end of the month.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 20) –  Discipline and determination have brought you thus far Sagittarius keep going The Chariot promises you success at the beginning of May. Try it again, and again, and again. In order to achieve sometimes we have to do the same things in repetition to know that we have it EXACTLY right! The Eight of Pentacles warns that you must not become frustrated, that you will gain recognition or promotion in your chosen field of study or work but right now it is about finding the formula for the perfect result you are looking for in the task at hand. This will help you to gain that respect from co-workers and leaders within your field. The Seven of Wands ends the month for you with a great big

Capricorn (Dec. 21 - Jan. 19) – Events have been set in motion Capricorn now all you can do is wait to see if your efforts, planning and diligence were worthwhile. In the meantime the Eight of Wands encourages you to get ready for some new adventures coming up which include some possible travel plans. Mid-month brings with it the energy of The Magician, giving you permission to truly seize the day! Recognize that you CAN and WILL become who you aspire to be by using your determination and your talents. You end May in the Two of Cups indicating the beginning of a new partnership, this may include love or business. Either way it is a binding and lasting affair in which you will find much contentment and happiness.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 - Feb. 18) –Its all about the future my water bearing friend the Knight of Wands indicates that you should follow your impulses and plan ahead because the next six months are of great importance to your future! Temperance stops by mid-month to help you learn moderation, now is not the time to go to extremes but rather attempt some form of balance. Don't stress to much or party to hard! You end the month in the Six of Wands reminding you to give credit where it is due and to recognize that your successes (and failures) are due to more than just your efforts.

Pisces (Feb. 19 - March 20) – You begin the month in the Six of Cups bringing a sense of nostalgia and thinking about the 'good ol' days' it is also a time to focus on the younger generation and their growth. Mid-month you meet the Emperor carrying with him a call to action, now is not the time to sit on your laurels! Get up, and get motivated! Assert control over your current situation and bring order to the chaos surrounding you. You end the month in the Three of Pentacles the house of money has gifted you with an opportunity to put your skills on display to better help you solidify a good financial position. If your an artist get working and start planning for an exhibit, if you work in an office be prepared because a big project will be coming your way. Either way be sure to do your best work this is a way to get on the fast track!!

Book Review: Tarot Spreads and Layouts by Jeanne Friorini

Hey Lovelies!
I've recently decided to get into some book reviews regarding the tarot and other divination devices! So I figured why not jump in with both feet right? Recently I was sent a copy of Tarot Spreads & Layouts by Jeanne Fiorini. I immediately noticed in the bio that she is a contributing columnist for the American Tarot Association. I was a mentor for this same group over a year ago so I was very familiar with the quality of readers, enthusiasts, and philosophers, I couldn't wait to read the book. Aside from that, Jeanne is also the owner of Tarotworks.com a website dedicated to offering tarot products, classes and services!
I have to say that the beginning of the book really made me smile, I hear so many people go on about knowing the meanings behind the cards and sticking to them so strictly. I have never been that kind of reader, and I've never had an issue interpreting the cards. Jeanne speaks on the importance of the card meanings, and how the meanings can change through the relativity of perception. She also discusses the 'No-No's' of tarot reading like asking something that does not directly affect you.
She also teaches creative freedom when it comes to the layouts and how to create your own fabulous ones! In one instance, she imparts a personal story that occurred during one of her group meetings, having run out of material she decided to create a Thanksgiving Turkey Spread. This story simply solidifies the fact that tarot layouts can come in any shape or size!
Rather than just sectioning up the layouts into 1, 4, or 8 card spreads Jeanne decided to go about it a little differently creating multiple spreads that deal with issues ranging from love and marriage to finances and business! I have to say one of my favorite layouts was the Chakra Spread under the health section!

Overall, I have to say this book is VERY good and I would definitely recommend it for those new to the tarot or who are feeling less than inspired with the divination system. Jeanne's love for the cards comes through loud and clear leaving you feel energized and excited to work with your deck!

Tarotscopes For February!

Hello Lovelies!

Unfortunately, because of my schedule, I will have to start posting the Tarotscopes as a monthly thing, but along with the Tarotscopes I will be highlighting some of my adventures as well! I hope this doesn't deter any of you from checking back often, as there will be new posts all of the time!

Aries

You're "get up and go, got up and went" this month, Aries. You will be suffering from a little bit of lethargy. This is indicated by the Eight of Cups, but surrounding this card you also have the Two of Discs and the Devil. Everyone always looks oddly at me when the Devil comes up in their spread. But it's not as evil a card as everyone may think. The Two of Discs indicates changes happening around you and I feel that this may pertain to work. However, you will also be in a place where it will be easy for you to adapt to these changes. The Devil gives me a little bit of a clearer insight, showing that you will be using your stubborn nature and your optimistic outlook to change a possibly negative situation into a rewarding positive one.

Taurus

The Four of Cups indicates that during the month of February you will be surrounded by material things, symbols of accomplishment and luxury, Taurus. However, it shows that you will also be restless. The Emperor also makes an appearance in your spread, which tells me that the potential for new love or even a rekindling of a current romance will take place during this month. The Princess of Disks also makes an appearance, connecting with the Emperor. If you have been looking to get pregnant now is the month to try for it. This month is great as far as fertility is concerned on all aspects. Mentally, spiritually and physically.

Gemini

The Knight of Wands appears in your cards this month, Gemini. You will be on a crusade during the month of February; not fighting anyone in particular but pushing for your creative ideas to come to fruition and be recognized for the genius that they are. This can also apply to a situation where you feel something is unfair and you fight to be heard. This month is one for self-assertion and really learning to put your foot down. This month is all about creation and manifestation for you. The Strength card also comes up, representing the power of love and innovation. No more time to tinker, Gemini. This is a month of action!

Cancer

You are down but definitely not out this month, Cancer. The 5 of Swords tells me that you are feeling as if options or ideas have run dry. But don't worry, this is a month to lay low and gather your resources. The Eight of Wands makes an appearance telling me that good news is coming to you this month and that truth will prevail. Finding answers is at the heart of this month for you. Nevertheless, it is a wait and see kind of month. There is nothing you can actively be doing at this moment to help push things forward. The Hierophant tells me someone is coming into the picture who will act as a guide for you. A giver of good advice, this person is definitely one to be listened to.

Leo

The Devil is the theme for you this month Leo, along with the World and 9 of Wands. The Devil speaks to us of turning negative energy into positive, it also touches on sexuality and physical confrontations. This tells me that this month will be one of ironing out details between two people, it will also be a sexually charged month for you -- but there may be a communication disconnect even with the great fun you have in bed. The World shows us that your worldview will change this month. Instead of relying on illusions and false beliefs, your eyes will be wide open and you will be hit by stark reality. The 9 of Wands shows me that this time for you is one of gathering energy and resources. It also tells me that you may be a little resistant to some new experiences coming your way. Be aware, we make our own obstacles.

Virgo

Your negative thoughts are really going to get you this month, Virgo. The 10 of Swords speaks of a fear of plans ruined as well as letting negative thinking get you distracted and distressed. The 5 of Disks tells me that there are some financial worries surrounding you, and the Knight of Disks shows that throughout all of this your will and persistence will overcome all of these things. But you really need to pick yourself up by your bootstraps and move forward. Don't allow the negative thought patterns to get you. If you do, you will miss too many opportunities for success. Don't hyper-focus or dwell on the possible negative outcome of a situation and don't borrow trouble this month, Virgo. You really can't afford it.

Libra

Expect your schedule to get full this month, Libra. You are being pulled in a million different directions and usually you are good at giving attention to all of them. However, this month things may seem a little overwhelming. The Ace of Swords shows up in your spread indicating that through all of this you will maintain clear thinking and that you mind will not fail you. There is also a new opportunity coming your way so keep your eyes open as this is something that will help to bring you spiritual and financial fulfillment. The Knight of Discs also makes an appearance to tell us that you will heading down your own path without compromising any of your ethical or spiritual beliefs. You will make no bones about who and what you are or your goals. People either better join you or get out of the way!

Scorpio

This month is all about releasing fears. The Moon card comes through loud and clear with this message, saying that you should not dread danger or look for the next shoe to drop but instead continue on your path with courage. It also speaks of delving into your subconscious to try and understand who you really are. We lash out for reasons unknown, we react to things in very specific ways, but why? The Moon is here for you this month to help you discover just that. The Five of Cups also makes an appearance, showing that there will be some big disappointments coming for you this month. I feel that they are from people, not situations. There is a feeling of injustice looming around you this month and it all comes back to opinions. However, on the other side of scale we have the Ace of Swords, which gives a chance of a new path, and freedom of thought. Take advantage.

Sagittarius

Your mind is your best weapon this month, Sagittarius. The Six of Wands tells me that you will gain success through your own clever machinations. On the opposing side, we have the Ten of Wands, which tells me that you may not be up to the effort of putting your full strength behind your plans or ideas. A feeling of fatigue will hit you this month, almost like there is barely any energy at all. But do not allow yourself to be oppressed. Temperance is there to guide you and help you gain balance. It's all about getting out of the chaos and finding equal footing this month Sagi!

Capricorn

An injustice will finally be righted, Capricorn. The Justice card tells of this, and next to it lays the Sun card, which speaks of material gain and success. It also shows us that you will be content during this month, both with your work and in relationships! However, on the other side of this lays the Seven of Cups, which tells me that there will also be much frustration. Things do not feel as though they are moving along fast enough for you. But there is so much going on behind the scenes that you don't see. Relax. Success is your's this month.

Aquarius

Be careful of courting danger this month, Aquarius. That warning comes from the Five of Swords. The Two of Wands tells me that you have control over a situation that you feel less than in control of. It also speaks of an overflow of creative energy just waiting to be channeled through you. The Five of Wands shows that you are longing for success, harmony and stability but that it often eludes you. This month you will be prepared to grab it, just be sure you can hold on and heed the Five of Swords this February.

Pisces

It's all about emotions this month, Pisces, with the Eight, Ace and Nine of Cups in your spread. The Eight tells us of a reversal of fortune -- it may feel like February is one giant obstacle, at least in the beginning of the month. Next there is the Ace of Cups which talks about a major opportunity for self-realization and fulfillment coming for you. It also speaks of reveling in love on all levels. The Nine of Cups tells me that you are going to approach every situation this month with a joie de vivre and that networking, team games and socializing in general will be your strengths throughout the month.
