Tarotscopes - October 2013

Hello Lovelies!!!
I know it has been a couple of months since my last Tarotscopes....but I am back, revitalized and re-energized with the energy of the season! Speaking of the season we are looking at October, the official changing of the leaves and that transforming energy of fall!

Libra - Happy Birthday Libra!! Fall is all about moving forward for you! Two of Wands in reverse tells us that you are taking lessons from your past and applying them to future plans. With that you move into the Eight of Swords reversed indicating a sense of freedom coming to you mid-month, the light is shining and you can see your path clearly. The end of the month holds a special surprise for you: overwhelming happiness as you gain your hearts desires and accomplish a few of the bigger goals within your plans.

Aries - You start out with the the Princess of Wands which brings a hopeful energy to the beginning of your month. Its also a card that gives you actionable energy, so now is the time to make moves and fast track your plans! Mid-month you run up against the Nine of Swords reversed telling you not to let your worries get to you even if you feel they are valid. Now is not the time to dwell on possibilities or to allow your mind to run amok, keep focused and grounded. You end the month with the Princess of Cups indicating a rise in your empathic abilities and the romantic notions, your are emotionally open during the end of the month, this is a great time to have any emotional communications and to rekindle love!

Taurus - The month begins with the Knight of Cups in reverse the message is clear: Prioritize, prioritize, prioritize!!! Generally this card is a great one in a reading, however, even though there may be a ton of GREAT things going on, you will feel pulled in a bunch of different directions and spread pretty thin! The Moon greats you at the middle of the month indicating that now is the time to rely on your gut instinct rather than trying to use logic as you aren't going to see the whole picture with your physical senses. You finish out October in The Sun reversed indicating that things are going pretty well for you, this is a great time to meet new people, socialize etc. If you are looking for a new job now is a great time to schedule interviews as you will be at your most charming and confident.

Gemini - The Two of Cups indicates that you may be getting to caught up with new love or issues in love and not taking care of your more platonic relationships. If you are currently experiencing problems in love now is the time to forgive, forget and start fresh. Balance is the name of the game mid-month Gemini, the Emperor reversed tells us you may be listening more to your emotional truths than your logical ones concentration and focus are critical right now. You end the month with Judgment in reverse, warning you not to jump to conclusions, really think things through and talk over the pros and cons before making any big moves.

Cancer - A great omen greats you at the beginning of the month in the form of the Six of Wands reversed, meaning that despite challenges or delays things you have hoping or working towards creating will come through. The Tower comes in next telling you now is not the time to try and cling to what you know but rather to go with the flow of change. You end with the Queen of Cups letting you know that there is a woman with great compassion and understanding in your corner.  

Leo - The Three of Pentacles is a great card to start the month out with, giving you great luck and momentum in work it tells you that the people around you notice and appreciate all of what you do, even if you don't receive a paycheck for it. The Six of Cups comes up next indicating a time of nostalgia, thinking on what use to be typically it is connected to children or your childhood. Lastly you move into the Eight of Pentacles telling you to prepare for a time of very hard work and lots of it! Not necessarily a negative thing as long as you are prepared for it.

Virgo - The King of Swords greets you at the beginning of the month representing a strong, forceful and opinionated person in your life who may be pushing your buttons. Instead of trying to change him, this is an opportunity to look at yourself and bringing change. Mid-month you walk into the Five of Swords telling you to think before you act, it can also be a card indicative of travel, not yours but someone close to you who you will miss very much. It can also indicate that you really need to think before you speak as your censor filter may not be catching everything and it could cause strain on friendships. You end the month with the Lovers in reverse giving you a sense of ambivalence towards love, pay attention to your gut feelings and try to understand where this is coming from.

Scorpio - The Magician pops by at the beginning of the month reminding you to make better use of your power, knowledge and abilities. Always seek that higher calling or purpose. Universe has been sending you many signs, and you may not be as aware of the synchronicity happening around you. Pay attention! The Three of Cups warns you that now is not the time to 'go it alone' rather create a sense of community and speak openly with those around you. You end at the Wheel of Fortune which serves as reminder that everything happens in cycles and there is always change coming around. Although the idea is difficult for some you really need to go through it and remember "this to shall pass."


Sagittarius - You meet up with the Chariot at the beginning of the month indicating that now is the time to gather all of your will and focus your ambition. When this card comes in to play you will receive clarity regarding on what your hopes and dreams involve and how to get there. You then move into the Ace of Swords reversed where anxiety may creep in or discomfort, for instance you may have a great job but a difficult supervisor who causes you anxiety in the workplace. This card tells you that if you are having difficulty,  now is not the time to be silent but rather to ask questions! You end when you meet up with the Princess of Pentacles who tells you now is not the time to daydream, be practical and grounded in the things you do and decisions you make.

Capricorn - Seek out upbeat people right now the Ten of Wands reversed indicates you may be feeling tired, overwhelmed and burnt out, now is not the time to push through anything. Sit back and take the break your body, spirit and mind are asking for. There is restlessness around you, the Eight of Cups can indicate that you have decided to leave a situation, this could be work, love or even family. Rather than it being a sudden out of the blue situation this will be completely in your control. At the end of the month you step into the Empress you will find yourself much more attractive in every sense of the word to those around you. You may find more people coming to you for advice or a shoulder to cry on as well and your creative energy will be at its height!


Aquarius - Time to change your perspective Aquarius! The Hanged Man asks you to release old ways of thinking and open up your mind to new ideas, attitudes and possibilities. The King of Cups greets you mid-month reminding you no matter how you currently feel that there is unconditional love around you, nurture others and allow yourself to be nurtured. You end the month within the Princess of Swords reversed steadfast but quick thinking she can sometimes become to aggressive or over zealous and end up stepping on the toes of the people around her. Hold back your energy just a bit for the sake of diplomacy.

Pisces - You begin the month as the Hermit, even for the atheist this is a spiritual card, its meaning is dependent on how you interpret the word spirits, whether you think it is a connection to God, someone's creativity, strength or emotions. The Hermit tells you that if you need to take time away, do so, even if it just five minutes it will be well worth it. It is also a card about 'doing the right thing' just be sure that when you are doing the right thing it is as much for you personally as it is for everyone else. Do not let the opinions or needs of others override your own. Next you move into the Star, indicating that you feel more secure about the future especially about emotional and financial needs being met. It also tells you to pay attention you will be feeling particularly inspired! You end the month with the Six of Pentacles indicating that generosity surrounds you and you should take it! Be aware of giving as much as you get though as this card is all about balances. It isn't always about money though, it could be spiritual support, advice, time, etc. This can also indicate a deepening of a current relationship or the beginning of a new one.

Tarotscopes October 2011

Hello Lovelies!

It's that time of the month! Yes, the Tarotscopes!!! This month I worked with the Silver Era Tarot authored by Russell J. Moon and artistry by Aunia Kahn.  I absolutely enjoyed working with this deck, if there was one critique I could give it would be to the models more than the artist. They were at times simply to stiff or in an obvious ‘pose’. The actually quality of the graphics is amazing. I must say that I would recommend this deck to someone who enjoys more gothic style art, the images are black and white with pops of color in various pictures throughout the deck. My favorite card? The Hierophant, those blood red lips on a younger female face (very unique as most often the card is depicted as an old man) in the black and white shot with a very intense gaze. If I could get it framed and hang it on my wall I absolutely would. The mix of photographed and illustrative art is fabulous and has a definite ethereal feel to it. This deck is great for the intermediate intuitive reader.

Libra - Happy Birthday Libra!! The King of Cups greets you at the beginning of the month bringing with him a sense of being driven, busting through obstacles and having to make many decisions. The middle of the month brings Judgement reversed beckoning you to  take another look, your drive has become possibly obsessive in nature. This card also warns of a lack of momentum and a feeling of progress stopped. The Ace of Swords brings along a rise from a feeling of defeat and again picking up momentum and a feeling of accomplishment.


Aries - The Devil knocks on your door at the beginning of the month Aries! Excess and overindulgence may bite you in the bum later. Keep aware of your apetites and your wallet! Mid-month brings the Star, ushering new hopes and dreams. Keep the faith things are moving forward even if it isn’t obvious right now. At the end of the month is the Six of Swords indicating time for a change you may be feeling disconnection with the people around you or your environment. This will spur you on to big changes next month.

Taurus - The Moon comes to see you at the beginning of the month telling you to trust your gut with all decisions and allow creativity to be your outlet. Nex comes the Four of Wands indicating completion or a feeling of accomplishment. At the end of the month Justice stops by giving you a sense of balance and rightness.

Gemini - You start the month in the Ten of Cups indicating a harmonious partnership or relationship. The Nine of Wands comes in at the middle of October  indicating a small setback in plans. But don’t be disheartened you will overcome and everything will be back on track in no time. At the end of the month you meet up with the Hanged Man in the reverse position indicating now is a time to look inward for resolution rather than opinions and ideas from everyone else.

Cancer - Now is the time for action! So says the Eight of Wands at the beginning of the month. Choices have been made and there is nothing left but to follow through with the plan. The middle of the month brings with it the Seven of Pentacles reversed indicating a big risk, all can be won or lost based on your decision (no pressure!) time to get some advice! At the end of the month you meet the Queen of Cups telling you to pay attention to the people around you, particularly the successful and wise. You will learn some new things which will make life much easier

Leo - You begin October in the phase of the Knight of Wands influencing you to continue in your current direction with a surety of much success. Midmonth brings the Ten of Pentacles into your sphere indicating a good financial status, with the ability to money aside. It may also come up if there is an inheritence or a lot of debt is cleared. At the end of the month you land in the Two of Cups bestowing a new or renwed friendship or relationship with a feeling of a true partnership!


Virgo - The Queen of Wands greets you at the beginning of the month with the message to forge ahead with bringing your dreams to fruition success lies around the corner. Mid month you embody the Page of Swords causing you to take an opportunity to advance your knowledge. At the end of the month you come in contact with the Six of Wands giving you a feeling of success and satisfaction.

Scorpio - You begin in the phase of the Three of Cups reversed indicating that now is the time to bring people together for a common goal.  The Page of Cups reversed comes to you at midmonth bringing with it a sense of a need to embrace the inner child.  Spend time with a friend, reminisce and relax. The endo fo the month brings the Five of Cups reversed inducing a sense of hardship and grief. Be sure to take your time with any decision making.

Sagittarius - Watch out Sagittarius! Now is the time to recover from last month the Four of Swords indicates a possible burnout on the horizon. The Tower reversed warns you to be cautious of change. Really take your time and weigh the pros and cons. The Knight of Pentacles warns you not to give into the pressure around you. Don’t let other people make the choices for you!

Capricorn - You start the month as the Queen of Wands reversed indicating a feeling of depression. But this does not last long as you move into the Magician midmonth bringing you to a crossroads. You cannot go forward, nor backward without making a decision. Take a minute and mull it over.  At the end of the month you reach the Five of Wands telling you to get involved in some healthy competition. It will be good for your spirit.

Aquarius - You start out in the Two of Swords telling you to accept fate. Release control and let things happen. Midmonth you meet the Hanged Man who tells you that right now you aren’t going anywhere, so just relax. But at the end of the month you have the Seven of Swords coming in giving you the ability to confront current issues with people and situations.

Pisces - The Devil is knocking at your door at the beginning of the month reminding you that things are only as bad as you percieve it. Sometimes we can cripple ourselves with our negative attitudes. The Fool tells you to take a second and look before you leap but it is definitely time for change at the end of the month comes the Ten of Swords indicating now is the times to pick yourself up by your bootstraps and move on!

Aries

Powerful ram that you are, you may feel somewhat stuck in your Career this week; whether it be a project just isn't moving fast enough for you, or you aren't getting the funding you need. However, income will still be consistent, which is very important to you. Financial security is everything! Even with the stability money, watch your spending habits; you will be very tempted to buy. I am seeing bigger bills that need to be paid so really consult with your inner self before making any impulsive purchases right now. As for your career, keep your head down and nose to the grindstone, this is the calm before the storm. Next week things will start ahead again at full speed.

In your Health sector you have the Devil, aches and pains are going to abound this week. So be sure to take care of yourself. If you were going to get sick, now would be the week.

Relationships are all about change and Aries you have the biggest change card in the deck – Death! Changes in your relationships may seem rough but they are for the better I promise. There may be a lot of talk about your relationships this week, and even though you're typically easy going there has been some strain. It looks like this is due to outside stresses and some unhealthy coping habits within the relationship. Now is the time to lay cards on the table and put your mutual energy together for change. Make a point of trying to do better, and understand one another. This can be a wonderfully healing time for the relationship and a new start. This can apply to love and friendships.

Taurus

Don't be afraid to open your mouth and speak your mind this week around your Career, Taurus. There are many things you feel could be done more effectively or changed around in your workplace. Career is always important to you, but this week is about taking some relaxing moments. Don't worry about money; it will be there. Even though financial strains may be upon you right now, release the fears. You will have plenty of time and money. In work itself, you will be helping a lot of people in need, which is indicated by the 8 of Wands. It's all about nurturing your fellow co-workers this week and helping them with their projects and deadlines. Health is not something to be messed around with this week Gemini.You have the Magician reversed which means it's not exactly smooth sailing for you. Stay away from obvious dangers and take extra precautions against sickness.

Relationships are all about the here and now. Don't let your emotions get the best of you. It's important that you put your family and friends first. Things may feel like they are going backwards a little bit in relationships, so put the needed energy into reconnecting with family and friends. Cancer

Things are out of balance at work Leo, and this is signified by the Justice card in it's reversed position. You could be taking on a little too much and not allowing yourself the freedoms that life demands. Remember Leo, you like to be the center of attention and life of the party. How can you expect to do that if you're exhausted from work? Whether it be the building itself, the people, or the monotony, either way it's time to create some change. Financially, you seem to be skimming the surface, paying minimums on bills just to get by. Things aren't going to change much there,

Health is downhill Leo. You are going to get hit hard with a sickness. But don't worry, this is part of a cleanse. You're getting all of the toxic stuff out of your body before the end of the season, so don't be surprised if this illness hits you harder than most. I would say the sickness could come at some point over the next week or two and don't be surprised if there is a lot of "drainage" (eyes, nose, throat, bathroom etc). This truly is a cleaning and clearing out.

If you aren't already in a serious Relationship Leo, now is not the time to go looking for one. There are a lot of players around you at the moment; people who are just looking to date for the fun of it. That is all fine and well, but it seems like you are looking for that long lasting permanent relationship right now. So why bother? That being said, for the Leo's that are in a relationship there is a lot to consider right now, so don't withdraw from your partner. Be truly expressive. One thing I am seeing is a new beginning, shown by The Fool in his upright position. But it also means you have to be careful and watch your words and actions over the next week. Think long and hard before you make any choices. With the Fool in your corner, a lot of life lessons may be coming your way this week and you need to be wise. Don't make snap decisions, as you may make a foolish choice or say something you don't mean.

Virgo

You have the Chariot reversed in your Career sector this week, Virgo. No matter how hard you push or how meticulously you plan, victory will not be yours (but just for this week). Think of this week like Mercury in retrograde; it forces you to take time out and introvert a little bit, to reanalyze and rethink strategies. Virgo's are always thorough, but ideas change and now might be a good time to look over your battle plans, goal lists and re-evaluate.

Health is going to remain fairly unchanged Virgo, although watch for possible neck and throat trouble this week.

I know Virgo is the Virgin, but not this week! You are in the mood to take charge in your Relationships and you may notice that your libido will speed up a little bit. Be open to fantasy play this week and create your own scenarios with your other half. In friendships again you will have to take charge, but not to worry, I'm not seeing too many meltdowns or blow-ups around you. It's smooth sailing.

Libra

You have the Two of Swords reversed in your Career. Reversed, it's a positive sign of conflict coming to an end. But you need to be aware, Libra, that not everyone is after you, and that in fact you have many supporters willing to help at whatever the cost. What this card talks about is an unspoken truce between enemies. This could be someone you have been having conflict with at work, so this truce will make life easier for the both of you. It's almost like "You stay on your side, I'll stay on mine." be aware of your boundaries Libra, you don't need any more conflict. On the upside, it also talks about new business ventures and financial opportunities coming forth. But be aware, there may be a little bit of an investment needed so save up your money. It will be worth it!

Health seems to be fairly balanced this week. I'm not seeing any huge issues.

In Relationships, it's another week of busting through obstacles! Be sure to maintain communication this week, friends may bring you some new opportunities that are definitely worth exploration. Also don't be surprised if stress gets the best of you this week and you get snippy with your other half. Really be aware of what you're saying and how you're saying it this week. If you have issues, leave them at the door when you get home. You need to keep balance in mind and be sure to take opportunities to spend some extra time with your other half. If you are not with someone at the moment, you will not be in the mood to go out looking. Besides, now isn't the right time anyway. Hang at home, go out with friends and visit family.

Scorpio

Career is in slow motion this week Scorpio, and it is up to you if you want to speed it up. Money is coming in slowly but surely and consistently. Your determination will really do you well if you decide to move things forward. It's not bad to push, just don't go too far. Keep the ball rolling and don't try to micromanage things. Feel free to delegate responsibilities. Your intuition is usually pretty accurate when it comes to whom to trust, follow that this week and it will help you immensely.

Drowsiness is going to hit you big, Scorpio. You may feel worn to the bone, so make sure to take immune boosters. The 7 of Swords tells me something might be weakening your system a bit.

You've got the Queen of Wands is in your Relationships. Look out for powerful women coming your way. They will be teachers and guides in your life. Also, if you are a female, you will be feeling really empowered this week, and your expertise and knowledge will be welcome and valuable to those around you. Feel free to learn and teach in your relationships.

Sagittarius

You have the Tower upright in your Career sector. Be ready for a complete change. An opportunity to get into new work or start with a new company will present itself this week. Just be on the lookout for it. The cards say this move will put you in a position of power so it will be a step up from the job you currently have. I drew a couple of other cards around it just to gain some further insight and what it tells me is that this is a change you may have been looking for. If you own a business it could be an expansion to a new area or new service, if you are working for someone, it could be a change in duties and job description. Either way it is a positive change, embrace it!

Immune systems are all a go this week, you have the Strength card! If you get sick it will only last a day or two.

Relationships may struggle a little bit right now, but no worries, it's only temporary. A little bit of disconnect is showing, so a very positive relationship may turn a little sour. But don't take it too hard; you both have a lot on your mind. Make it a point to talk openly with each other every night to get some "us" time. Friendships are also victim to this malady, although from what I am seeing it's more in the aspect of lacking communication. You may be so hyper focused on what is going on around you or your worries that you are not as communicative to your friends this week. Be sure to touch base with them.

Capricorn

It will be a good week for travel in your Career. If you have business trips to make, now is the time to schedule them. The cards say this time will be very lucrative for you! You are entering into a time of victory when it comes to goals, finances and your career. Now is the chance for you to begin manifesting your wants and needs; pushing that energy forth and into creation! Go for it, Capricorn.

You have the Tower in your health sector. Health issues may crop up quickly this week so be vigilant

Relationships are going to center around money. Unfortunately, it will be the lack of. Be aware there are going to be some larger sums of money getting paid out and that may put a strain on your relationship. Just be sure to keep good communication and you should be fine.

Aquarius

Watch your humor this week; your twisted kind of comedy may not be as appreciated as usual. However, that good natured and easygoing attitude will save the day. With the Magician reversed, you need to watch out for feeling a little more powerless than usual in your Career. Know that the ball is in your court and you can make all the foreword movement that you like.. Don't let anxiety and stress get the best of you. Take a deep breath, the only obstacle in your way this week is yourself.

You're pretty good where Health is concerned, I'm not seeing any changes...so if you're sick...you will continue to be sick and if you're healthy, well then you're all set!

There are no real gripes in your Relationships this week, however, those negative worries from your Career sector seem to have spilled over into your home life. So be aware that insecurities and harsh feelings towards yourself are just a bunch of baloney. From what I see in the cards, most of what you feel to be negative in your relationship may be in your mind. You and your partner are not dysfunctional, but there is always room for improvement. Take what your negative mind tells you with a grain of salt and move forward in happiness.

Pisces

You have the 7 of Cups in your Career this week, so expect the unexpected. Emotionally you are going to be all over the place, from travel to work through to your relationships. So be on the lookout. Allow yourself to experience your emotions, particularly worry and anxiety. They are going to be your main combatants for this week. Don't worry about work though; all is good on that front. I pulled a couple of extra cards and we have the 8 of Swords reversed which tells me you will not have to make sacrifices at work and I'm not seeing you being fired or losing any of your finances. So all in all, it's just an emotional rollercoaster. You need to be very conscious about not getting so stressed or overwhelmed that you begin to make mountains out of molehills.

Not seeing a lot of issues in your Health right now, but watch out for your eating habits. You have the 4 of Coins reversed, which tells me you may not be eating your healthiest this week.

In Relationships you have the 6 of Swords. This means that problems are moving away from you when it comes to your love and friendships. Solutions to issues in relationships are going to present themselves this week. If you and your spouse have been arguing or having communication problems, this week it will come to a head and the issues will be sorted out. Now is a great time to fix friendships and heal old wounds.
