Hello Lovelies!!

April is a great month for creating change. The scent of spring in the air, the idea of cleaning out clutter, it is a month of transformation and potential growth!! This month I decided to choose one of my personal favorite artists, Bosch!! Yes the imagery is sometimes shocking, but I absolutely love it nonetheless! The deck was compiled and edited by Pietro Alligo with instruction guide written by the publisher Lo Scarabeo. The Bosch Tarot gives a dreamlike view of fantasy and fears from the Flemish artist. Whether little humanoid beings holding coins between their butt cheeks as depicted in the 10 of Coins or the rotund demonish creatures playing maces like trumpets as in the 2 of Wands it is an exciting and enigmatic deck that will keep interpretations brewing for hours!

Aries (March 21 - April 20) – Happy Birthday Aries!!!! Just a shout out Happy Birthday Alysia Love you cousin!!! The start of this month may be a little rough, your in the Ace of Swords finances are okay but insecurities will hold you back from pursuing important goals, it's time to face your fears!! Mid-month you move into the Knight of Pentacles narrow scopes and closed minds will not stop your creative energy! You need to be self-sufficient, employee, manager and boss all in one during this time. You glide into the Knave of Wands at the end of the month indicating that now is the time to dig deep and find answers, the card of the philosopher and the investigator, everything has an answer and you my dear will have some burning questions. Go dig, get your answers, you may not be happy but at least you will have the truth.

Taurus (April 21 - May 20) – Death greets you at the beginning of the month asking you to lay to rest an argument or issue, give the forgiveness or find the solution best suited to you but either way let it go and allow yourself to grow, change and move on. The middle of April you slide into the Three of Wands giving you the energy to create what you need, this could be framing a house, repainting a room, this card is one of a craftsman, builder, or handyman. Get your toolbelt out! You end the month in the Moon giving you the ability to dream, but be sure not to get lost in your dreams and forget where reality lay. 

Gemini (May 21 - June 21) – Two out of three cards are wands this month Gemini indicating a need to look inward for answers. At the start of April you are in the Nine of Wands, pay attention on all fronts, this card indicates that you have been protective and nurturing one aspect (home, health, wealth, family etc) rather than the whole thing. Now is not the time to hyperfocus, but to spread out your energies. The Wheel comes in mid-month telling you that now is not the time to get wrapped up in other peoples issues, worries, stress and dramas. You are NOT going to find enlightenment by aiding others at this time, but rather by taking a step back and asking how does their suffering mirror your own situation and finding new ideas through contemplation. At the end of the month you meet the King of Wands indicating a time where you must lead and teach by example rather than explanation. Step into the shoes of the role model, embrace it, now is your time to educate and expand the mind, moral and to inspire those around you.

Cancer (June 22 - July 22) – Do not let fear hold you back warns the Ace of Chalices, fear of love, failure, success, or fear to trust. These fears will raise your hackles at the beginning of April, causing you to become a wee bit defensive. Be open to new ideas, critiques and suggestions, don't let those fears reinterpret the words of the speaker or skew your perspective of the situation. Take a step back, be contemplative and objective. Mid-month you meet the High Priestess, she urges you towards wishful thinking and plenty of prayer. By praying on your goal, situation or problem, it allows for better concentration and focus. Don't go beating your head against a wall though, in the moment that you are praying to Universe, God, whomever or whatever entities or energies release it to them. You end the month as the Hierophant, this month has been about fears and moving into this particular card says if you are right and you are just you cannot fear. Remember that!

Leo (July 23 - Aug. 22) – There is no doubt that you know what you are talking about Leo, but you may need to dress the part in order to convince others that you are knowledgeable. It is not the clothes that make you an expert but presentation is important. Do not undervalue yourself, and make the investment in you in order to move ahead! Mid-April brings with it the Three of Swords indicating that someone around you is not quite as pure of heart as you believed. Take a moment to carefully assess friends and family that you trust, someone is not showing their true colors and it's better to find out now rather than later. At the end of the month you move into the Two of Swords indicating a battle coming forth but be careful, one misstep and you will become that which you have been trying to fight.

Virgo (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22) –  You begin this month in the Four of Wands urging you to take the offense rather than defending yourself. Mid-month you move into Temperance who asks you to be patient, and remember that small changes lead to big things!! You finish the month in the Six of Chalices, reminding you that moments whether good or bad are fleeting and to savor life's experiences.

Libra (Sept. 23 - Oct. 22) – Don't lust after what you don't have Libra go out and CREATE IT! So says the Knave of Pentacles. You may have been dreaming of riches or stature, of a certain piece of jewelry or a certain position at a company. Either way make it happen, now is the time and your energy is perfect to put out a mix of manifestation and elbow grease! Mid-April you run into the Seven of Chalices indicating that what seemed to be impossible has actually become possible. Don't second guess it, just go with it. You end the month with the Four of Pentacles, confirming what Universe has been trying to teach you this month, NO GOAL IS OUTSIDE OF YOUR REACH!

Scorpio (Oct. 23 - Nov. 21) – Don't make any hasty Judgments of decisions at the beginning of the month Scorpio your in the house of Judgment Reversed, indicating a possible skewed perspective that will not allow for clear thinking and may cause you to trip up. You slide into The World during the middle of April bringing you to a point where you can truly learn to accept yourself, both the good and the bad. Along with it comes a simple sense of completion as though you have come full circle. At the end of the month you move into the Seven of Pentacles telling you that now is the time to clean house!! There are things around you which hold no real meaning, but are just there collecting dust. Get rid of the artificial and but object with a higher meaning in positions where they will get the most attention.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 20) –  The Knight of Chalices tells you to be conscious of how you are relaying messages over this period of time. Be sure to give good details and get to the point, also double check that the recipient is hearing (or reading) what your actually saying and not what they perceive you to be saying. Next you come upon the Hanged Man telling you to take off the blinders and look all around you and from all different perspectives. The situation can be remedied but you may have to take an unusual route. You end April in the Ten of Swords giving you the motivation to add to your armory, collecting new skills and discovering new tactics to aid you in future endeavors.

Capricorn (Dec. 21 - Jan. 19) – Watch out for all of those commitments Capricorn you may get crushed under the weight of your responsibilities. In order to take of others you need to take care of yourself and the Eight of Pentacles warns you that taking on anything more will break you. In fact, you may need to trim some of the workload down now and release yourself from some of the responsibilities you've already taken on.  The King of Chalices makes a grand entrance during the middle of April, people will be coming to you Capricorn, there will be many opportunities for you to tell your story, give advice and share your experiences. You've had plenty of ups, plenty of downs and now is the time to help others by sharing what you've been through. At the end of the month you breeze into the Two of Chalices encouraging you to remember the fight and the fatigue, to remember what made you who and what you are. Now is the time to look back and appreciate, reevaluate and reorganize!

Aquarius (Jan. 20 - Feb. 18) – Remember to LAUGH!! The Six of Wands reminds you to embrace the child within you and find the humor in the depressing and absurd situations you find yourself in during the beginning of April. Afterwards you move into the Ten of Chalices, indicating that it is time to put a focus on the home, not literally the house but the family. Share some bonding time, reconnect with your loved ones its important to keep the family together and strong. At the end of the month you greet the Knave of Chalices, who tells you that now is the time to decide who is helping you and who is hurting you. Every once in a blue moon you need to clean out your toxic people closet. Now is that time.

Pisces (Feb. 19 - March 20) – Everyone experiences emotion differently Pisces and it's important that you remember this, so says the Eight of Chalices. It may not make sense to you but the cards are asking you to be fair to those around you and give validation to the others feelings. Emotions are not statements of fact, and by validating their feeling you are only giving the respect that the other person deserves. However, if there is still a point to argue, be sure to stand your ground. The Chariot rides in during the middle of April bringing with it the feeling of everything crashing down on you, there is no escape, these situations need to be handled and the Chariot is there to remind you, you can run, but you cannot hide. At the end of the month you greet the Star indicating that you need to take a closer at the details in order to see the big picture.

March 2012 Tarotscopes

Hello Lovelies!
Can you feel it? Spring is coming!! But you know what they say about March right? In like a lion out like a lamb! There are so many colorful weather related sayings during this month, because it is such a mercurial time. March is where I feel we truly transition from winter to spring, when our minds and spirits begin to get a little antsy for the coming spring and the growth it brings. I love this month, it's one of those where ANYTHING can happen, the change in energies is profound and allows for great surprises!

Speaking of profound this month I'm working with the Simply Deep Tarot authored by Chanel Bayless with artwork from James Battersby. Chanel stresses the idea of detachment when reading cards to better get a grip on the layers of the cards and become more honest with yourself and  those around you. I can totally agree with her on that! Having run tarot classes and been a reader for years I know that we can often see what we want to see in the cards. Even the 'worst' cards can be spun to sound like a blessing when we refuse to be completely honest. The art is okay, I have a couple of favorite cards such as Strength, and the Kings/Queens of the suits as well as the Ace of Wands. It is a colorful deck  with each suit color coded by framed images, the images are extremely detailed and I can see where they would call it deep as you can look at the cards four or five times and notice something new every time. One thing I absolutely love is there are no descriptive words on the cards so it leave it completely open to interpretation!

Alright friends let's get on with the Tarotscopes!!

Aquarius - Happy Birthday Aquarius!! Your month is going to be great starting out very quick paced as you begin in the Knight of Swords, don't go to fast though your need for speed may cause you to overlook some important things particularly around work! The Princess of Wands comes in mid month gifting you with the need to explore your surroundings and your own feelings. Universe will most likely send a couple of challenges your way during mid-month to help you understand your internal process better. Go to them with an open mind and no expectation. You end the month in the Queen of Coins indicating abundance and hospitality or generosity, whether you are having friends stay over or helping the poor now is the time to give your resources to those who you feel deserve.


Aries - You start the month in the Two of Cups bringing with it a sense of romance and the feeling of a great union. This does not always apply to love relationships but business as well, it can indicate the perfect energy between you and your work, or between you and friends/partners. Either way, enjoy it! Mid-March is a time for you to become the introvert alongside the Hermit, spiritual answers are necessary to understand current situations around you. Once you receive the answers you seek, spread this new awareness to those around you, the messages are not for you alone. You end the month in the Princess of Swords who brings with her the impulse to talk, continue to spread the word about your new found knowledge and experience more of the world.

Taurus - Entering the month in the Ace of Wands you pass through this phase within the first week, it brings you to a point where decisions that you may have been putting off NEED to finally be made. The King of Coins greets you at the middle of the month bringing with him a sense of friendship and connection to those around you. He also tells you to remain aware of the balances around you and to keep impulses in check. At the end of the month you move into the Three of Coins bringing creativity and a need for stockpiling. Gather money, resources and energy, be sure to hold onto them because you will need them down the road!!

Gemini - The Devil is at your door at the beginning of March Gemini! Be careful of unhealthy addictions and desires, now is the time to really face your issues and release some of your burdens. Don't let negative tapes or voices from the past dictate how you will deal with your future! Nine of Swords comes through mid-month keeping you awake with worry, those negative tapes that tell you that you can't and your fears are working overtime. Don't let them run or ruin your life, Universe is continuing to give you the opportunity to face things head on and prove to yourself that you CAN. You end the month in the Four of Wands indicating that having faced your issues it is now time to move on to the next level! Congratulations..you've passed the trial by fire!


Cancer - You begin the month in the Six of Cups indicating a return of someone from your past. It is a happy reunion though and a re-connection you are more than glad to make! Mid-month Death rolls in indicating a big change, but these are never without sacrifice. You have to be willing to give in order to receive. This could be giving up one job or career path to begin another or something similar. You move into the High Priestess at the end of the month indicating a need to look at the bigger picture. You are focusing to much on the details and getting a little lost in them, take a step back and refocus!

Leo - You begin the month in the Queen of Cups heightening you empathetic nature, you will hyper-aware of the feelings of others around you and your kindness will know no bounds. It will also be more appreciated at the beginning of March by those you do help! You next move into the Hierophant indicating that any issues around you will need to be explored from a spiritual perspective or that a spiritual mentor may get involved. If you are someone who occupies the latter position know that you will be in great demand during the middle of March. You wrap up the end of the month in the Seven of Cups bringing with it a sense of creation and exploration added to it the need to have it all RIGHT NOW! It is an opportune time to take a look at your goals and allow yourself an objective view of what can be reached and what is truly unrealistic  AT THIS MOMENT.

Virgo - The Five of Cups starts your month bring with it the necessity to recognize your support system. You may be feeling blue, stagnant, or upset but the Five of Cups ask that you pick yourself up by your bootstraps and recognize how many people are there to help you! It is not weakness to take a hand! By mid-month you move into the phase of Judgment indicating that someone around you is asking for forgiveness. This is your opportunity to take the higher road, to forgive and forget.  By the end of the month you have passed into the Princess of Coins, now is a time to celebrate your success but don't go nuts with money, be sure to show it the respect it deserves by buying things that will last or taking trips that will make forever memories.

Libra - You've got some major players in your cards this month Libra. The Star burns bright for you at the beginning of March indicating a need to retain hope in others, situations and yourself. Be the Star in your own life and people will pick up on that new found confidence. Just that change alone will bring new opportunities to you! Mid-month it will be a little more difficult to hold onto that confident feeling as the Wheel of Fortune moves in bringing with it a sense of change....but from where or when no one knows. Universe has your back though and now is the time to just go with the flow. At the end of the month you move into the Eight of Cups, a lovely card with the idea of progress in it's energy. You use emotional lessons learned from the past in order to climb the stairs that bring you to your future.

Scorpio - Wow, the beginning of March is not your best Scorpio with the presence of the Nine of Wands bringing chaos and calamity, but keep your cool and put out the fire. Part of this chaos comes from YOU being stuck in old ways of thinking, there is more than one way to douse the flame, look for other methods rather than your old go to. It will allow you to save time and be more prosperous. Evidently you followed the cards advice because by mid-month you are the hero as depicted in the Six of Wands, you gain the loyalty and trust of your people and move ahead to continue old plans or start new! By the end of the month things have settled down quite a bit and it is time to rejoice in the fruits of your labor as indicated by the Ten of Cups. Relax.....

Sagittarius - Keep trying Sag! You can't pull a tree out of the ground using your bare hands, as much as the Ten of Wands tries it's just not happening. Stop trying to rely only on yourself to get the job done, reach out to others around you. Once you do the World will open up at the middle of the month and become your oyster. At the end of the month the Four of Swords comes into play telling you that now is the time for rest, it's been a chaotic month. It also indicates a great time to get into some meditation practices to open you up to Universe and start listening to your Higher Self.

Capricorn - Be skeptical of the people around you Capricorn, someone is collecting ideas, thoughts, plans and has decided to bring them to an enemy camp or use them for their own gain, so says the Seven of Swords. Be on your guard! Two of Wands comes into play at the middle of March letting you know that now is the time to put thoughts and ideas onto paper, be very careful in how you word or depict those ideas though, anything you send out during the middle of March WILL manifest. You end the month at the Knight of Coins, this shows that there is a lot of hard work going on and a possibility of travel for work. Either way be sure to take advantage and make it as much pleasure as it is business!

Pisces - At the beginning of March you are influenced by the Five of Wands, giving you a feeling of  the connection between all things. It can also indicate a mess that must be unraveled! As you slowly put pieces together your own personal growth and changes will happen. Mid-Month the Fool enters telling you to keep the faith but also to use your resources to do due diligence before hopping on the bandwagon. The end of the month you move into the Four of Coins letting you know you may be clinging to the material things around you for the wrong reasons. Why do you hold onto all that physical stuff? What hole may you be trying to fill?

Tarotscopes: February 2012

Hello Lovelies!!!

It's that time again! February seems to be a fabulous month for most of you and I am excited to share with you the many changes this month will bring! This month I am using the Medieval Cat Tarot, let me tell you it is a little bit of whimsy and a whole lot of business. Definitely a deck I recommend, it brings with it a straight to the point attitude and an overall positive message (even when it comes to the bad news) that is both inspiring and fun!
Most of the colors are muted because they are attempting to catch that renaissance feeling and let me tell you they do it beautifully. I particularly love the Death and Devil cards, the pips are much like those found in the older tarot but each has a small portrait of a cat and their suit. Overall this deck is a wonderful one to add to any collection and I feel is good to be used by either beginners or experienced readers!


Aquarius - There is a new commitment on the horizon Aquarius, or so says the Four of Wands, typically an indicator of impending marriage, business partnerships or some other important relationship the card indicates that this new coupling will bring you onto a new path and head you towards prosperity! The Knight of Swords greets you in the middle of February telling you to push as hard as you can to move your plans forward. Many times we get excited about the prospect and planning of a project but we lose motivation as we go, be careful that you don't run out of steam! At the end of the month you move into the Ace of Coins, indicating the opportunity for a new job, or a new home. Either way it is a card which brings material wealth and prosperity! A wonderful way to end the month.


Aries - The Queen of Wands greets you at the beginning of the month infusing you with the compulsion to conquer! As soon as you finish one project or task your heading full steam into the next. The Knight of Coins stops in mid-February to tell you not to focus so much on long range success as at the moment it is unclear but to instead pay attention to the little milestones along the way. At the end of the month you move into the Six of Swords indicating that there will be a situation which will bring about a sense of loss, grief or anxiety. But fear not! There is freedom on the other side of it

Taurus - Ideas abound but now is not the time to just plan, you begin the month in the Two of Wands indicating that you see the full picture and it is time to put plans into motion. Mid-month you become The Hermit now is the time to seek a place where you can hear Universe speak to you. Think on what has been distracting you from seeing signs, maybe stress, kids, your own mind working overtime? Try and find a place of peace and quiet, then focus your energy on discovering Universe's signals. The Wheel of Fortune ends the month for you saying that at the moment you may feel like small forgotten cog in a giant machine, but there is an opportunity on the horizon to take back the spotlight!

Gemini - You are riding The Chariot at the start of February things will be extremely chaotic at this time, make sure to double check plans as the Chariot can indicate you may be moving a little to fast. Be sure not to put the chariot before the horse. The Five of Cups pops in mid-month reminding you that there is 'No use crying over spilled milk.' situations around this time may cause you grief, but this card warns that you should not dwell to long! February ends with The Moon telling you to trust your instincts and keep moving forward despite fears, stress and worries!

Cancer - Keep balance with the Two of Coins Cancer, you may be struggling a bit keeping things in order at the beginning of the month, work/play, family/bills etc. Be sure to give everything equal attention so you don't get to overwhelmed in any sector of your life. Grasp success at the middle of the month with the Ten of Coins! You are a great career point and finances will be on the upswing, you will have reached a pinnacle point in your place of work you may wish to seek a change of scenery because as we head towards the end of the month you meet the King of Wands who insists that we take what we have learned to a whole new format or audience.

Leo - Enough is enough Leo, that thought will be drilled into your head by the end of the beginning of February when you move into the Seven of Coins. Even though you may not be the most prosperous, you look around and realize you have everything that you need and that it is a blessing. Mid-month you move into the Ace of Wands indicating that a new idea, career, or path will open up to you! As we begin to head into the end of February you suddenly realize that all of your struggles have not been in vain, doors will begin to open for you!

Virgo - 'Be true to you.' Says the Emporer at the beginning of February, you have a lot of dreams Virgo, but are they truly feasible? Do others have that same goal or will you stand alone as the Emporer does? Whichever the case, don't give up. You move into the Five of Coins at mid-month indicating that you are allowing yourself to be overcome by a lack of material wealth, you are focusing to much on what you want and do not have. This card also indicates that you will soon be in a situation that will break you free from these troubles. You end the month in the Three of Swords bringing forward feelings of betrayal and pain from the past. These emotions come into the light so you can move forward and let go of them.

Libra - You move into the Knight of Cups at the start of the month bringing with him a sense of reassurance concerning the path you are currently traveling. At mid-month you are greeted by the Knight of Wands indicating that your career is moving in the right direction, and growth will happen quickly. At the end of the month you move into the Two of Cups indicating a new partnership or agreement which brings you a sense of security and happiness.

Scorpio - The Nine of Cups says that now is the time to take stock of your accomplishments, but also to be open, honest and above all fair with the people around you. If you need to communicate just be careful that your words are not interpreted as boastful. Mid-month you move into the Seven of Swords there will be a few new personal victories but they are best kept to yourself, you've solved the problem using your out-of-the-box thinking but there isn't any need to share the situation. Strength says that now is the time to thrive rather than just survive as we close out February.

Sagittarius - The Nine of Wands greets you at the beginning of February and gives you the impulse to reevaluate your defenses both emotional and physical. Has your home security system been updated, what about fire alarms? What about your emotional defenses, are you keeping people at arms length unnecessarily or do you need to put up more? Mid-February you enter into the Four of Cups inidcating that you may be looking more towards the negative when the answers you seek and the blessings are right under your nose! You end the month of February by meeting the Hanged Man, he tells you,'Things look very different from this angle.' giving you the hint that this may be a great time to look at things from a different perspective in order to help you out of your current situation.

Capricorn - The Ten of Cups starts out the month indicating a true sense of abundance and emotional fulfillment. Death comes mid-month with changes in mind be ready to redefine ideas of the self and your position in the world, This card is not something to be feared, but rather to be embraced by the end of your journey through Death you will be all the stronger. The Six of Wands ends February indicating the need to follow your heart, some family, friends or colleagues may not agree with your choices but either way it is important that you persevere and continue your forward momentum.

Pisces - You are full of coin cards this month Pisces, both at the beginning and the end, you start out in the phase of the Four of Coins bringing with it a sense of insecurity, even though it may be recent it is actually rooted in the past don't get intimidated or react out of habit. Instead sit with the feelings and recognize that they are that..feelings, not facts. Mid-month brings you into the Three of Wands indicating that you are working towards a really great financial goal, keep going the Universe is pushing you towards success. At the end of the month you meet the King of Coins telling you to beware of stagnation, you've had success now is the time to do an about-face and start a new direction!
